After a long break from music Jazmine Sullivan releases her saucy and soul driven fourth studio album Heux Tales. This comes after her 2015 release Reality Show and her 2008 release Fearless that featured ‘Bust Your Windows’.
The album features songstress Ari Lennox, H.E.R and the multitalented Anderson .Paak. The 14-track album is a combination of head bopping R&B and catchy tunes as Sullivan takes from her personal experience to create a full picture of love and covers loss. In Rolling Stone’s review of the album, writer Jeff Ihaza describes the album as a ‘Nuanced Take on Romantic Realism’.
