Oskido shared a picture of himself with Black Motion from back in 2012, emphasizing the journey of meeting the duo from when they were still working in a backyard studio. Oskido has a proven history of changing the lives of upcoming musicians to help the become African stars.
Oskido took to social media to share the journey of the duo captioned: “Back in 2012 when I first visited @realblackmotion in their backyard studio ezozweni in Soshanguve. I knew then they were part of future generation of music.The rest is history!”
The duo have been making music together as Black Motion for the best part of the last decade. Coming through the ranks of South Africa’s vibrant House music scene, the pair established a sound in the South African House dialect all their own. Their sound is built on the foundations of the drum structured around native musical languages informed by rich cultural heritage of South Africa, but executed in the sound of House music.
