Tshego ‘Tag Team The Ghost’ Boshielo Releases A Kwaito Single Inspired by Kalawa Jazmee Kwaito Legend- Thebe!
Upcoming rapper and Bcom law graduate, Tshego ‘Tag Team The Ghost’ Boshielo has released a new kwaito single inspired by Kalawa Jazmee kwaito legend- Thebe.
Inspired by nostalgic events in his upbringing, Tag Team The Ghost along with his siblings, grew up listening to the kwaito star and has been a fan ever since. A very different sound to his previous chart topping single ‘Chisa’, Bula Boot is a tribute to South African Kwaito legends who were the originators of the music genre and paved the way for upcoming artists.
“The song was inspired by an old school jam by Thebe from Kalawa Jazmee called ‘Bula Boot’. It takes me back to the good old days, listening to kwaito with my siblings in the ‘hood’. This is just a feel-good song that talks about the culture and hustling lifestyle in the township”.
