DJ Maphorisa Celebrates Scorpion Kings Sold Out Show In Kenya. Kenyan house music lovers were in for a special treat as celebrated as South African DJs and producers Maphorisa and Kabza De Small hosted a Just A Vibe concert which took place on the 28th of February 2021 at Carnivore Grounds, Langata in Nairobi; and the show was sold out. The duo, Scorpion Kings, released their album in 2019 titled Scorpion Kings and paved a way for amapiano sound ever since.
Taking to social media, Maphorisa thanked his Kenyan fans for the sold out show with a video of hi performance captioned: “Thank You Kenya. Scorpion Kings Sold out show.”
Both Kabza De Small and Maphorisa had expressed their excitement for performing in Kenya. Maphorisa posted a video before the event stating that he will be rocking Kenya while dressed in Gucci. “Its a Gucci day ready to rock Kenya,” the star captioned.
The duo was rocking the stage alongside DJ IV, DJ Ally Fresh and Shema DJ. The pair is recognised for their formidable contribution to the growth of amapiano genre. So far, the duo have released 3 albums together titled Scorpion Kings, Piano Hub and The Return of The Scorpion Kings, which was well received by their fans, more specifically hits such as Koko, Lorch and Nana Thula just to mention a few.
