Focalistic Celebrates “Ke Star” Remix Major Milestone A Week After Its Release
Focalistic Celebrates “Ke Star” Remix Major Milestone A Week After Its Release. Focalistic’s “Ke Star” remix featuring Davido and Vigro Deep continues to reach more milestones as lovers of amapiano sound vibe to it. The remix recently became the first South African song to enter the Billboard Top Triller Global chart currently at number 8.
The remix has now hit 1 million views on YouTube just after one week of its release. Focalistic expressed his excitement on social media thanking his fans for the support. He wrote: “1 week! 1 million! Danko is thank you. Keep running it up!! #KeStarRemix @davido @VigroDeep.”
Focalistic announced the remix of the song after he posted a picture of himself chilling with Nigeria’s afrobeat star Davido, of which the image went viral on social media. Soon after officially releasing the remix, Focalistic followed-up with the song’s visuals. The video show performance scenes by the two musicians flanked by dancers.
The remix for “Ke Star” is hopefully a move that kickstarts Focalistic’s continental dominance. Amapiano as a sound has proven to be popular in many parts of the continent and some parts of the world. Davido is one non-South African musician who has embraced the sound which can be heard in his latest album A Better Time.
The star also performed in Nigeria, and from the videos he posted on social media, Nigeria’s crowd sure know amapiano songs by Focalistic. One can say that his dream of taking amapiano from Pitori to the world is a success as his song was being jammed to by American rapper Diddy. Focalistic also revealed that he’s excited to see how well the masses are responding to his music. “Before anything, it’s always been about the love of the city. That’s why I do it and that’s why I started in the first place rapping in spitori. For me, it’s exciting to see people react the way they’ve been reacting and it’s all love.” Said the rising star.
