Makhadzi Celebrates Being On A List Of 100 Most Influential Young South Africans. The list of 100 most influential young South Africans was released on Wednesday, put together by PR firm Avance Media. The list ranks individuals from diverse industries and sectors including activists, speakers, entrepreneurs, musicians, media personalities and politicians. The PR firm said the 2020 list is focused on revealing the most hardworking youth, and featured individuals who stood tall in their businesses and careers amid the coronavirus pandemic.

Limpopo born singer and dancer Makhadzi is on a list of the 100 most influential young South Africans. It is no question that Makhadzi owned 2020, and by the look of things 2021 sill looks bright for the star. The Murahu hit maker was beaming with excitement as she felt recognised. See tweet below:

MD of Avance Media, Prince Akpah, noted that the annual ranking of influential young South Africans continued to serve as an avenue for inspiration to all young individuals as they pursue excellence in their various endeavours. Among those in the musical field listed in the rankings are Ami Faku, Boity, Cassper Nyovest, Kabza De Small, Mas Musiq, Riky Rick, Nomcebo Zikode, Nasty C, DJ Maphorisa, Prince Kaybee Yanga Chief, and Master KG. This year’s ranking features a record of 56 females, 43 males and a music group Blaq Diamond.

Makhadzi is one of the new people that owned 2020 as she released her latest album titled” kokovha” which was well received by the fans and is still making waves even today. The  25 year old musician recently stated that she’s building her mother a house, to show her gratitude for all that she’s done for her. Her fans account @Khadzinator confirmed in a tweet with images and that she apparently started building the house last year during the lockdown. Many young South Africans look up her more especially her home town. It is no wonder that she made it to the list.
