Vigro Deep And DBN Gogo To Perform At A London Carnival Alongside Kehlani. YAM Carnival is a brand new carnival coming to London in the summer of 2021, brought to you by the minds behind Afro Nation. Arriving on August bank holiday weekend, Yam Carnival will be “a celebration of Black culture from around the world” and is set to land in Clapham Common this summer. Yam Carnival, which was due to make its inaugural appearance last year but got derailed due to Covid, will take place on Saturday August 28 2021 in London and the latest event scheduled for what could turn out to be a huge bank holiday weekend in the capital.

Both South African music producers and DJs Vigro Depp and DBN Gogo have made it to the line-up. Vigro took to social media to announce that he will be rocking London in August at the Yam Carnival. He wrote: “Let’s go Rock London this August.”

DBN Gogo was also beaming with excitement as she shared the news with her fans and followers captioned: “London in August.”

The Carnival stage will see Davido (headliner), Kehlani, Patoranking, Yemi Alade, Darkoo, Midas the Jagaban, Ms Banks, Omah Lay, Pa Salieu, and Rema. While the Afrika Shrine Aline stage will host American songstress Ari Lennox, Fally Ipupa, Femi Kuti, NAO, Stonebwoy, and Fatoumata Diaw. The third stage, Afrotronic, will host Honey Dijon, Culoe de Song, DBN Gogo, DJ Lag, Djeff, Jaguar, Sef Kombo & Kitty Amor, and Vigro Deep.

Social media users are proud to see local musicians shocwasing their amapiano sounds in London. One fan wrote: “Omg @VigroDeep and @DBNGOGO are performing at YAM Carnival in August!! Real SA Amapiano in London? I’m there by fire by force!!”

Fans of DBN Gogo are also proud of the DJ and have shared congratulatory messages. One fan wrote: “GOGZIN!!!! The world is YOURS. YOU DESERVE THIS. In the words of Anatii: Masambe Masambe Masambe siy’ eMonti.”
