Dr Rebecca Malope Welcomes Sechaba Back Into The Music Industry

Dr Rebecca Malope welcomes Sechaba back into the music industry. It’s good to see artists standing by their fellow artist’s side even in their difficult phases. Gospel singer, also known as the ‘Queen of Gospel’ Dr Rebecca Malope had a warm reception for Gospel Singer Sechaba Pali after taking a break from the music industry.

Rebecca took to her social media pages to share a snippet video of herself and gospel singer Sipho Makhabane accompanying Sechaba to his first performance of the year. He was performing on the Love Show concert that took place in Mmabatho Convention Center on the 18th of February 2023. The singer shared that the theme of the show was to show love and welcome Sechaba back into the music industry.

“The theme of the show was to show love and that’s what exactly me and @smakhabs did for our beloved son @sechaba_pali. It’s great to have you back. I know your fans missed you. We are proud of you. Welcome back Sechaba. You will always have our support”, Dr Rebecca shared.

Sechaba took a break from the music industry after being allegedly destroyed by his record label. In his interview on SABC, he shared the struggles and challenges he faced with his record label, record producer Tshepo Nzimande’s record label. He further added that the situation affected his mental health and music career badly. “… My music career was supposed to be a calling, how does it end up destroying me… They killed me, they destroyed me”, Sechaba shared.

Sechaba’s fans shared in the comment section how elated they are that he is back and shared how much they missed his voice since they have not heard his music in a long time. “Thank you Dr Rebecca for giving Sechaba a break. I haven’t heard him since live, since forever”, said one of her followers.
