Pretty Yende set to perform at the Coronation of England’s king and queen consort. South African choral singer and operatic soprano Pretty Yende is set to represent South Africa with her operatic soprano performance at the consort.
Pretty took it to social media to share that she has been invited to perform at The Coronation of Their Majesties The King and The Queen Consort. The consort is set to take place at Westminster Abbey on the 6th of May 2023. “It’s hard to put into words how honored and blessed I feel to receive an invitation to perform at The Coronation of Their Majesties The King and The Queen Consort at Westminster Abbey on Saturday 6th of May 2023”, Pretty tweeted.
She is adding this achievement to many other performances she has done in other international stages such as her Metropolitan Opera debut in New York in the role of Adele in 2013. Buckingham Palace announced that Pretty will have a solo performance alongside other international choral singers.
Her supporters shared how proud they are of the choral singer and congratulated her for this huge achievement.
