Sbu took to social media to share how much he misses his mother who passed away around this time 2 years ago. He shared that he will never forget the day he received a called informing him about his mother’s passing. He said from that day he has never fully healed.

“On this day, 2 years ago round about this time, I got a call that shattered my whole world into a million pieces. To this day, I’m still trying to find those pieces. Oh mama, rest well my queen. I will see you in the morning”, Sbu tweeted.

The gospel singer often shared the love he had for his mother. He once shared a sweet message for her on her birthday on the 20th of May 2022 appreciating her. “When I tell you the story of this woman I call mom people think I’m talking about a movie I’ve watched or book I’ve read. Hers is a story of faith, resilience and hope. Her faith makes my heart look like it’s nothing, her resilience. She has survived so much yet handled tough situations with so much grace only God can give, hope, my goodness, I’ve never met someone who no matter how hard things are but somehow finds a way to believe that things will get better”, Sbu shared.
