Simphiwe Dana reacts to her work being featured in a new book. Afro soul singer and songwriter Simphiwe Dana has expressed gratitude after reading a book written about her phenomenal work in music.
Simphiwe Dana took to her social media pages to share a read about her work. The singer shared how elated she is that her work is being recognized and she is getting flowers for it. A book called Still To Be Named is an interpretation of her selected work since she began her musical journey. The book was written by Professor Cakata and Professor Radebe. The singer shared how thankful she is to the Professors.
“Getting my flowers whilst still alive. I am so overwhelmed. It has all been worth it, Mamjoli. Thank you Prof Cakata and Prof Radebe. Your work will live forever…”, Simphiwe Dana shared.
It is no surprise that the singer’s work is being written about and she is recognized. Simphiwe has blessed her fans with masterpieces including her album titled Fireband released in 2015. She has also had successful shows including her recent show about healing and love called Moya that happened earlier this month.
