Thandiswa Mazwai commends Simphiwe Dana and Msaki for their sold- out shows. Singer and songwriter Thandiswa Mazwai applauds afro soul singers Simphiwe Dana and Msaki for having their first successful shows for 2023.
Thandiswa took to her Twitter page to commemorate the two artists, including herself that have done exceptionally well since the year started. She shared that something needs to be said about their outstanding work and for pulling their sold- out shows. The singer further added that their sold- out shows were about healing, sharing love and they have done exactly that with their music shows.
“There is something to be said about the fact that in the past 10 days, three women in the music here at home did sold- out shows about healing, love and the trouble with South Africa now. Big up sisters @Msaki_ZA @simphiwedana #sistasonthemissionwithmusic”, Thandiswa tweeted.
All three of the musician’s shows turned out to be a success. Thandiswa had her show called A Letter To Azania on the 25th of February 2023. She shared that the show was a way of telling stories that inspired her life, and also a way of sharing love and transforming lives. Msaki also had a show called Msaki’s Detta Love Experience that started on the 23rd of February and ended on the 25th of Februsry2023. The show was a way of saying goodbye as she is taking a break from the music industry.
Moreover, Simphiwe Dana also had her show called Moya. She shared that Moya was about spirituality, healing and the relations that people have with their ancestors and other people. Her show took place from the 3rd of March to the 5th of March 2023.
This is evident that these musicians are indeed doing well in their craft and are continuing to heal people with their music.
