WATCH! A look inside Buhle Mda’s prayer session for the entertainment industry. Female member of The Soil and singer Buhle Mda has given an update of how the prayer session went for the entertainment industry.
Buhle Mda took it upon herself to host a prayer session for the industry. She shared that she decided to host a prayer session because people are going through difficulties, they die alone, and she wants to break that chain. The only thing she could do or offer was prayer. The prayer session took place on the 22nd of March 2023 at For Art Sake Creative Hub in Johannesburg.
“Calling out to all spiritual leaders from all dominations. We need to join in prayer/Mphahlo to restore our entertainment industry. We are going through a lot and die in silence, let’ us break all those chains this Wednesday. We are open to any form of assistance to make this a successful evening”, Buhle Mda had shared.
The singer has since taken to Instagram to share a video of what happened during the prayer session. The prayer session went well and people brought candles for the prayer as advised. A number of South African celebrities and spiritual leaders showed up including former IdolsSA judge and musician Unathi Nkayi, musician Khokho Madlala and Tabia.
Buhle Mda’s fans and supporters commend her for hosting this prayer session and shared that it was a needed prayer during this difficult period. “Camagu, indeed a needed prayer”, said one of her followers.
