Holly Rey Makes It Back To The Music Scene With A New Single Featuring Blxckie, Called‘Slow Down’

South African House Music artist, Holly Rey, has become a beloved household name. Known for her upbeat music and soothing vocals. Holly Rey has had a number of commercially successful songs since her smash hit ‘Deeper’ in 2018. Her follow up single ‘You’ reaffirmed just how talented she is and also found its way to the Top 10 radio tracks in South Africa and earned her a second nomination for ROTY (Record Of The Year) in 2020.

Earlier on in April the singer took it to social media to tease on new music that is in the works. Her latest offering is ‘Slow Down’, which is to be released on the 28th of April. ‘Slow Down’ does not disappoint and leans into the chilled vibes and resigned easy vocals that we have come to know and love her for.

The track merges Holly Rey’s love of House and Afrobeats into a Pan African Dance track. It also features signature vocals of fellow Durbanite and hip hop sensation, Blxckie, who brings his unique blend of Trap Hip Hop and Afrobeats to the single.
