Shimza’s label imprint hosts farewell celebration for Msaki. House music DJ and producer Shimza’s label imprint, Kunye set to celebrate Msaki’s Last Rainbow.
The label imprint called Kunye Records by Shimza, took to its Twitter page to share that it will be celebrating Msaki’s Last Rainbow as she is taking a break from the music industry. The show is set to take place on the 8th of April 2023 at Sugar Rush Park in Ballito. “Come and celebrate Msaki’s Last Rainbow with us and wish her well on her next journey, as one #kunye”, Kunye Records tweeted.
The line up for Msaki’s Last Rainbow show includes a couple of South Africa’s most outstanding artists and international artists. The list includes, Msaki, Black Motion, Shimza, Shamiso, Fisho, Kususa Merlon, Ahmed Spins and more. Msaki will have a live performance.
Msaki confirmed in February that she will take a step back from the music scene. The singer has previously shared her reasons of why she decided to take a break from the music industry. She recently shared one of her reasons in her recents post where she was ranting about her name not being included on a nominees list by the METRO FM music awards. She shared that music politics are tiring and she needs the break.
