Murdah Bongz celebrates AKA for scooping 5 Metro FM awards. Music DJ and producer Murdah Bongz shared a lengthy congratulatory message dedicated to rapper AKA for winning multiple awards.

AKA’s music received four awards this past weekend at the Metro FM awards that took place on the 6th of May 2023 in Mbombela, Mpumalanga. AKA’s parents, Lynn Forbes and Tony Forbes and his daughter Kario collected the awards on his behalf. Congratulatory and celebratory messages for the rapper poured following his wins. Murdah Bongz was one of those who celebrated the rapper.

Taking to his Instagram page, Murdah Bongz wrote a heartfelt note for AKA for this posthumous huge achievement. He also commend AKA’s team that was behind the making of his album and pushed even more after his passing. In his post he included the pictures of AKA’s parents and his daughter collecting the awards and a picture of his step daughter with all the awards.

In his caption, the DJ wrote, “A big congratulations to AKA and the megacy. Well deserved to you Kiernan. I am very proud of @kario.forbes for shinning so bright. @lynnforbesza and @tonydforbes well done to you and the team on all the hard work nobody gets to see. The megacy will live forever”.

Murdah Bongz formed a relationship with AKA before his passing since he is married to DJ Zinhle who shares a child with AKA. He continued to be beside AKA’s family even after his passing. They have been spending quality time together as Murdah is now a permanent step father to Kario. They also have been showing each other support and love. Their strong bond is beautiful to witness.
