Zakes Bantwini shares local artist line-up for Abantu concert at DHL Stadium ahead of international guest act announcement

Following Zakes Bantwini’s recent press conference at Cape Town’s DHL Stadium in which he stood alongside Cape Town mayor Geordin Hill-Lewis to announce that he’d be hosting a concert at the world-renowned stadium, the Grammy Award-winner has announced a blockbuster artist line up for the eagerly anticipated show. 

Zakes shared through his social media platforms that he will be joined on stage on October 28 by the likes of GoldFish, Musa Keys, K.O, Nomcebo Zikode, Goodluck, Jeremy Loops, Major League DJz and Sun-El Musician. He has also noted that he will be announcing an international guest act in September. A few surprise acts will also be part of the concert at DHL Stadium on October 28.

“When we first came up with the idea for Abantu, the idea was to do something special for the people,” says Zakes. “It took us some time to get it right but I think we finally have a well-rounded event property that everyone can look forward to.”

“We have an incredible line-up that I believe will bring a unique flavour to a local concert that’s unlike any we’ve seen before. This is just the beginning and I can’t wait for everyone to see what we have in store for this historic show.”
