NOWAND Return with Powerful New Single “Again & Again”

NOWAND, the visionary duo behind standout singles like “Back To Love” and “Hear Me Calling,” have returned to the spotlight with their latest release, “Again & Again.” Dropping independently under their own label, Thundersun Productions, the track pushes their signature blend of progressive, melodic, and electronic soundscapes to new heights.

“Again & Again” is an immersive exploration of rhythm and texture. The production unfolds as a layered journey where lush melodies flow seamlessly with pulsating undercurrents, crafting a sonic experience that both calms and energizes. The song reflects on the pain of a possible breakup, capturing the questions, confusion, and raw emotions that heartbreak often leaves behind. At its core, it speaks about unmet expectations, miscommunication, and the sense of losing a precious bond. The lyrics read as a call for honesty and clarity in relationships, making it as relatable as it is sonically compelling.

The duo consists of South African-German singer and songwriter Mark Bahlig and Argentinian-born musician Gustavo Fasani. In 2016, they made a dedicated shift into music, embarking on a journey to create art that deeply connects with the soul. Their mission has always been to explore inner realms through sound and share that journey with listeners worldwide.

NOWAND took their artistry to another level by collaborating with Berlin-based sound engineer and producer Hannes Bieger. The partnership led to the release of their debut album Superhuman in 2022, which followed the success of singles remixed by Bieger and Francesca Lombardo. The title track of the album went on to be arranged and orchestrated for a classical interpretation by composer and conductor John Walton, showcasing their versatility and broad creative vision.

In the past two years, they have also worked closely with producer and artist EGGSTA, further enriching their sound. Drawing from new wave, synth pop, dub, blues, and the timeless tones of the eighties and nineties, NOWAND’s music merges nostalgia with innovation.

For both Mark and Gustavo, NOWAND has been more than a project; it has been a process of catharsis and regeneration. Through songs like “Again & Again,” they now aim to offer the same space for reflection, healing, and emotional release to their listeners. This latest single reaffirms their commitment to delivering music that is not only sonically adventurous but also emotionally resonant.
