Goldfish Release New Single “Body Language” Celebrating South African Roots

Internationally acclaimed live electronic duo Goldfish have released their new single, “Body Language,” an Afro House track that blends rhythm, groove, and soul while paying homage to their South African heritage.
After performing on dance floors from Ibiza to San Diego, Goldfish return to their roots with “Body Language,” combining African house rhythms with organic instruments to create a fresh, modern sound.
“South Africa has always been in our DNA,” say Dom and Dave of Goldfish. “This track is about the unspoken communication that music creates. South Africa may have 11 official languages, but body language is the way we communicate best.”
The release also marks the launch of their new record label, 33 Degrees, and signals a broader Afro-inspired project. The label builds on Goldfish’s connection to 33° South (Cape Town) and 33° North (San Diego), focusing on deeper house textures and supporting emerging talent. Upcoming collaborations include Zakes Bantwini, Zolani Mahola, and other fresh voices from around the world.
Goldfish have achieved global recognition over the past decade, releasing six award-winning albums, earning multiple SAMA Awards and an MTV Africa Award, performing at major festivals such as Coachella, Glastonbury, Lollapalooza, and Burning Man, and holding a residency at Pacha Ibiza. Their collaborations include Bakermat, Xavier Rudd, Cat Dealers, and Dubdogz, and they have amassed hundreds of millions of streams.
From jazz-trained beginnings in Cape Town to stages across Europe and the USA, Goldfish continue to push the boundaries of electronic music while infusing it with South African energy and spirit.
“Body Language” invites fans worldwide to move, connect, and celebrate the universal rhythm that transcends words. The track is available now on all major streaming platforms.
