Nominations Now Open for the 2025 Legends Awards – Part of A Night With Legends: Generations United

South Africa’s most celebrated cultural icons, sporting heroes, and musical powerhouses are gearing up for A Night With Legends 2025: Generations United, set to take place at Vodacom World, Midrand, on Saturday, 1 November 2025. Central to this iconic event is the Legends Awards, recognising the nation’s most influential figures whose creativity, impact, and contributions continue to shape South Africa’s story.
This year, public nominations for the 2025 Legends Awards are officially open. South Africans are encouraged to nominate individuals who have made outstanding contributions across a wide spectrum, from music, sports, and performing arts to heritage, innovation, and social impact. Nominations can be sent to info@anightwithlegends.co.za, admin@anightwithlegends.co.za, or awards@anightwithlegends.co.za. The deadline for submissions is midnight on Tuesday, 15 October 2025.

These categories reflect the event’s mission of celebrating those who inspire unity, progress, and cultural excellence.
A Night With Legends 2025 promises a full day of celebration. The festivities kick off at 3PM with a live screening of the Orlando Pirates vs Mamelodi Sundowns match on large screens, energising fans ahead of the evening’s main program.
The Legends Awards segment, running from 5PM to 8PM, will honour South Africa’s icons in a meaningful and inspiring ceremony, setting the stage for the world-class concert celebration that follows. From 8PM until late, audiences can enjoy performances from some of South Africa’s most beloved artists, including Somizi, Arthur Mafokate (celebrating 33 years in music), Kelly Khumalo, Vusi Nova, Nomfundo Moh, Blaq Diamond, Big Zulu, Kamo Mphela, Focalistic, Jaziel Brothers, Lady Du, Chomee, DJ Cleo, Lwah Ndlunkulu, Dino Bravo, Professor, DJ Owami, DJ AJ, and other surprise acts.
“The Legends Awards form part of the larger A Night With Legends celebration — honouring the individuals who built our creative and cultural foundations while connecting generations through music and unity,” organisers said.
