Frigid Armadillo Illuminate the Afro House Scene with ‘The Light’

South African House duo Frigid Armadillo are stepping into a new chapter with the release of their latest album, The Light. The album is a collection of Afro House sounds that reflects the duo’s love for music and storytelling. Across the project, Frigid Armadillo explore different moods while keeping the energy that has become part of their unique and distinctive sound.
The Light is about finding your way through different moments in life and holding on to the positive things along the way. The title speaks to hope, growth, and moving forward, themes that come through in the music.
For Frigid Armadillo, the album also marks an important step in their growth as artists, while giving them the opportunity to work with some of the artists they have long admired and had on their bucket list, including Nkosazana Daughter, Mr Abie, Ze2, Simmy, Nomfundo Moh and Azana, among others. They have taken time to develop their sound and create a project that feels true to who they are, while still giving listeners something fresh to enjoy.
With The Light, Frigid Armadillo are not trying to follow a trend. They are simply sharing the music they enjoy making and inviting listeners to experience where they are in their journey.
