Somizi On SA Fashion Designers Showing Off Face Instead Of Their Work. When celebrities rock the big events with breathtaking outfits people just wanna know who did such an amazing job, as much they give out names of their designers it’s usually unlikely to see the faces of those designers.
Somizi made a comment about designers showing face saying that implying that they must remain in the corner and have their show off only their work.
“I spoke about it at the Durban Fashion Fair, South African designer’s work should speak for itself versus them pushing the face before their work. They want to be famous. I don’t want to know the designer’s face. I want to know the designer’s work.”
He added that designers also needed to realize that not everyone was meant to design couture. Instead they should look to work on everyday clothing to push their brand.
