The South African Music Awards have announced that gospel singer and Reverend Benjamin Dube will be awarded with a Lifetime achievement award. The gospel star will be honored along-side the late Dan Tshanda who dominated the bubblegum pop genre in the 1980s.

The 58 year old singer is considered as a legend in the gospel music industry.
