Born Loyiso Gijana, the artist says he has made a conscious choice to reclaim everything he feels he lost—both personally and creatively. “Creating music became both a release and a mirror,” he explained. “It forced me to confront emotions I had long tried to suppress.” While Lloyiso admits he is not usually comfortable speaking openly, he said this moment felt necessary. “My management has given me this task to say what’s on my mind because I have a lot to say and I’ve got an album part 1 coming soon,” he said.

He referenced his song Umgowo, released on YouTube, as an example of his introspective approach. “The type of person I am is like, I feel so much and I’ve kind of had to embrace that and also find a balance in those feelings and not live in that world, not live in that space,” he explained.
