SA Musicians That Beefed Up In 2017.There is nothing more interesting than seeing celebrities having a spat, it gives us an idea that they actually humans with feelings and also that in the music industry not everything is as rosy as it seems.

Like most years, 2017 has been a year where musicians have fed us enough beef to last us for years, the crazy part is that with celebrities you never know if it’s a publicity stunt since it usually occurs on twitter or they just don’t like each other that much because of jealousy,ego & competitiveness etc.

The artists listed below have had those squabbles while others settled it others haven’t, hopefully they will.

Here’s a list of musicians who have beefed up in 2017 : 

1. Cassper & Emtee

Apparently Emtee was angered by the fact that Cassper laughed at him during his genital ‘mistake’ and said that he wasn’t a real nigga. Emtee was even touched by comments Nyovest made in regards if weed. Fortunately The two settled their beef even though there’s no telling if they’ll be friends or not.

2.Duncan & Zakwe

Their beef was reported to be about jealousy and Duncan said that“Most of underground rappers eTHEKWIN afisa ukungi bona ngiwa noma ngingalikhuluma kanjan iqiniso bazobheka into into abazofuna ukungi nemba ngayo bengibeke amabala bangikhulume ngithule ngyababuka.”

3.Cassper & DJ Maphorisa

Maphorisa called Cassper a liar when he revealed that he had sold 10 Million Records. Cassper just blocked him and later responded on a fan’s retweet that he doesn’t have time for haters. Maphorisa remains blocked from Cassper’s twitter account so they probably at odds even though Mphorisa tried to justify his comment and said he respects and loves Cassper’s craft he just needs to stop lying.

4.Yung Swiss and Emtee

The beef starting to cook when Emtee and his team were ‘moved’ by the list of best trappers in SA which placed Yung Swiss on number one. Emtee said that he was the best to ever come out of SA and that it’s unfair for someone who hasn’t achieved as much as he had to be number. Yung Swiss responded by saying that, he had no control over the list and that he has nothing against Emtee but if he(Emtee) wants to go head to head with him, he’s ready for it as he will not let any man walk all over him like he’s half a man.

5.TipCee & Babes Wodumo

Tipcee was linked in having beef with Babes Wodumo and Zodwa Wabantu but she clarified the claims. Speaking to TshisaLIVE, Tipcee admitted that she was often compared to other women on DJ Tira’s label but she was blazing her own trail. “People always compare me to them. They think that I don’t like Babes. Everyone thinks that she is my competition or that I don’t like her. She is my girl, people misunderstand us. They compare us and it’s frustrating because I am not in any competition. Even Zodwa Wabantu is my girl. We are family and I have no problems with either of them.”

6.Zahara & Somizi

This one wasn’t actually a beef-beef, but during SAMAs beginning of the year which Somizi was the host he said that Zahara was an alcoholic. Mgodi hitmaker threatened to sue the entertainer and claimed that Somizi had really hurt her feelings. Somizi later apologised “I only mentioned bar and her name, not alcohol. But if that offended her I am sorry. I did not mean to hurt or harm her. It was just a joke,” Somizi said in the Sowetan.
Zahara said that if there was no apology she would continue with getting a lawsuit, now that the apology is out of the way we guess this scandal is over.
