Cici Still Adamant On Fighting Arthur Over Alleged Domestic Abuse. Songstress Busisiwe Thwala has once again opened up about the abuse she allegedly experienced while she was dating Kwaito music star Arthur Mafokate.
The two were involved in a romantic relationship which was unhealthy judging from what they’ve been revealing lately of the abuse they were both experiencing from each other. They both laid charges of assault each accusing the other of abuse and both went to trial last year in August, the results of their cases are blur but Cici has revealed that Arthur is expected to appear in court in 14 March 2018.
The singer took to twitter to share the news bodly stating that she is not going to give up until justice is served for her.
“After months of fighting and threats my court case against Mafokate finally goes to trial 14th March .I will never stop fighting until I get some form of justice. Too often women shy away from standing up for themselves because we worry what the world will say,” she tweeted.
She further tweeted that SA supports perpetrators instead of victims and she is looking to change that with her situation.
“Or because of how the law in this country is structured, It’s tends to protect the perpetrators instead of the victim. Their time is up #Notowomanabuse Thank you to @NotInMyNameSA for standing by me and the rest of SA”
