Zahara Allegedly Owes Over R1 Million For Unpaid Home Bond

Zahara once again reported to be involved in money drama

Zahara Allegedly Owes Over R1 Million For Unpaid Home Bond. According to SundayWorld publication singer and songwriter Zahara owes an amount of R1 731 684.62 for her home bond which she allegedly failed to pay from last year June. The paper also reported that the Mgodi hitmaker will lose her home if she fails to pay the money she owes.

In Zahara’s case the money drama reports isn’t new even though in all the news that have been reported about her having money problems she has denied that blatantly. In the previous year it was reported that she was about to lose her car due to failed payments and that she was going broke due to her excessive spending, this one time an anonymous source said that she couldn’t even pay for a bill in a restaurant in Sandton she attended with her manager.

In her defence she once said that SA doesn’t respect her privacy since the media focuses more on her personal life than her music.

“I have taken my music across Africa and I have won many awards. I have done everything I could here and now people have started to tear me apart. They focus on my private life instead of my music and they don’t give me the same respect.”

Zahara said she was done with trying to impress people and would rather be in a place where she was appreciated for her music.

“I am now done with Africa and trying to impress everyone. It is time for Africa and South Africa to let me go and let me take my music to places where it can be appreciated. I love this country and what it has done for me but my talent needs to be heard,” Zahara said.
