MAJOZI Releases New Single
South African darling MAJOZI has released a much-anticipated brand-new single, entitled ARREST MY LOVE. Known for his radio hits such as ‘Fire’, ‘Darling’ and most recently ‘Waiting’ and ‘Somebody’, MAJOZI has climbed deep into the hearts of fans across the country. With his sincere and heartfelt songs, he artfully portrays his uplifting perspective on the world around him and draws inspiration from his faith and the world around him.
ARREST MY LOVE was written around 2 years ago by MAJOZI and was inspired by Isaiah 42.2. He loved the message behind the scripture and wanted to build his own love story around it. ARREST MY LOVE is part of MAJOZI’s sophomore, self-titled album released in 2018.
“The song is about someone who is enamored and enthralled with the person they love; they’ll do anything for that person because that’s how strongly they feel about them”, says MAJOZI.
An offering for young and old featuring MAJOZI’s signature sing-along lines and catchy hooks, ARREST MY LOVE is a pop-electro song with influences of Daft Punk focused around a positive message.
