Watch! Black Coffee Speaks On Building His Music School “What We Are Doing Is Much Bigger” – Our global sensation, DJ Black Coffee is leaving no stones unturned, his ambitions of building a school are ongoing.

His plans to create Fashion, Art and Music (FAM) Academy will be made a reality. He unearthed his master plan for the school, scouting for a space that can accommodate a larger number, he and his partners are getting that sorted, scouting a bigger property.

Black Coffee, award-winning artist Nelson Makamo and globally acclaimed fashion designer Laduma Ngxokolo publicised in 2017 that they would establish the academy for talented young creatives in Mzansi.

We are now in 2019, two years in, and Black Coffee has informed the world on the advancement of the project, disclosing that they are scouting, searching for premises at the moment.

Black Coffee explained in their trail, they discovered premises, although, the premise did not match the extensive vision.

We have been working on finding a premises now. We initially got a premises but we realised that what we want to do is much bigger. So we are working towards the project.”

“Our goal is to build an academy for talented youth in these three professions. We want to create jobs for the students straight out of the academy… This is not for us but for the future generations we are going to need any kind of assistance with this project. Foxes have holes, birds have nests (but the) children of Africa have nothing,” Black Coffee said.
