J’ Something paid his tribute to the late South African musician Johnny Clegg in a heartfelt video recording. The lead singer of the Mi Casa band normally posts beautiful pictures of food and sometimes songs that he sings for his wife. The musician posted a song from Johnny Clegg that his wife asked him to sing for her during Freedom day.

“My wife asked me to sing her this song today and asked if I could make a video. So I did. Thought I’d share it with you guys too. I know things are really hard at the moment. But I hope that you are smiling wherever you are. Things will get better my homies. We got this,” says J’ Something. The artist was singing the cover of ‘Asimbonanga’. The artist says music has helped him keep sane during this lockdown period. He also went on to say that all he can do for people is motivate them and try soothe their souls.

Life as we know has been a bit altered due to the novel coronavirus. Socialising has been moved over to the online space, shopping has been limited to what you need and no leisure. On top of that people are fearing for their financial status, with entertainers losing gigs and some people in other industries being retrenched.
