It has recently been announced that the founder of Muzart has passed away. The son of musician Jabu Khanyile is stated to have passed away on Friday. Sunday was reportedly told by sources near the artist that he passed away in hospital due to an undisclosed illness.

The Muzart lead singer and Metro FM radio host, Rorisang Thandekiso, sent a heartfelt tribute to the group’s founder. She also posted pics of them as a music group. Rorisang Thandekiso says, “Talking about you in the past tense doesn’t make sense to me.” Other people close to the artist and fans went on to send their heartfelt messages towards the late artist. One tweep says, “…I will never forget you. Nkayiso Khanyile you were a Real One homie. Real n***as don’t die, they multiply. Rest in Music…”

One tweep says, “Goon too soon my Brother…Will definitely miss your bubbly soul. Never a dull moment with you around…” His close friend, Musawenkosi Mahlangu went on Facebook to say, “When they say life is to short, [it’s no joke]. Just 2 weeks ago we were talking and now he is no more! He was one of the coolest friends I had. Never judged, always wanted the best for me, taught a lot and now he is gone.” The late artist established the music group Muzart alongside Rorisang Thandekiso, Tazzy Lehutso and Refentse Chauke.
