When Cash Time Life started it was one of the best recording labels with the best artists but then the fall from grace for the label was massive. It seemed bad for Skhanda hip hop artist K.O. However, that didn’t stop him and this year seems to be proof that he has persevered. It’s also promising to be a good year for the artist.

The artists seems to be going back to the top with his rhymes, fashion partnerships and the new recording label. The artist says and Skhanda World founder says that when he got away from Cash Time Life he felt like he was coerced into getting away from a piece of history. The founders closed down the recording label after some of its artist such as Kid X, Maggz, Ma-E and Moozlie all exited the label. K.O was hurt by the events that occurred. However, his aim to win and ‘never give up’ attitude saw him get back up from dark time in his musical career. His comeback took over two years that had resulted in his acclaimed album ‘PTY UnLTD’.

The album featured a lot of the top acts such DJ Maphorisa and Wizkid. His clothing brand has also been making sales and he thus got a partnership with famous brand Asics. The artist was deemed as the bad guy when Cash Time Life because he was the one at the forefront of the label. That’s he plans to make things different with his new label Skhanda World. “This time it will be a lot more formal and a lot more corporate . I will be the president of the machine and unlike Cashtime, people won’t deal with me directly. I’m not babysitting anyone. We are offering the platform without spoon feeding them,” says K.O. He still, however, wants to create opportunities for young artists. The artist recently signed Loki into his record label, Skhanda World.
