Dr Rebecca Malope celebrates 35 years in the music industry. Award winning gospel singer and songwriter Dr Rebecca Malope is set to celebrate being in the music industry for more than 3 decades.

Taking to her social media pages, Dr Rebecca Malope shared that she will be celebrating 35 years in the music industry. ” Celebrating 35 years in the industry. God has been good to me #Grayeful”, Dr Rebecca tweeted. She also shared that there will be a gospel music festival in her honour. The music festival is set to take place on the 1st of April 2023 at The Bears Palace in Calorina, Mpumalanga. “We’re inviting you all, come join us as we celebrate my 35 year journey in the music industry on Saturday, the 1st of April 2023 at The Bears Palace in Calorina, Mpumalanga”, Dr Rebecca Malope shared

The gospel singer shared a number of South Africa’s most outstanding gospel artists are including in the line up. Gospel artists that will be having performances at the festival include, Solly Mahlangu, Sipho Makhabane, Ncandweni Christ Ambassadors, Kholeka, Sipho Ngwenya, Hlengiwe Mhlaba Bishop ND Nhlapho and more.

The acclaimed “Queen of Gospel” has made her mark in the music industry. She has released 36 albums that have reached platinum status since she stepped onto the music scene. She has blessed her fans with greatest hit songs including Umoya wami released in 1994 and Nkarabe released in 2013. She has been gracing stages and doing shows all over the world. The singer’s latest work include a song titled Izulu featuring Dumi Mkokstad released in 2021.

Her fans and industry peers are looking forward to the music festival and cannot wait to celebrate the singer for such a huge milestone.
