Ambitious Entertainment Drops Blaq Diamond Danya Devs’s Album Before Its Release

Ambitious Entertainment drops Blaq Diamond Danya Devs’s album before its release. Singer and member of the duo Blaq Diamond, Danya Devs was double crossed by former record label after they released his album before time.

It is very much known that Blaq Diamond left the major record label Ambitious Entertainment to become independent artist. Speaking to MacG on Podcast And Chill, the duo shared that they parted ways back in December 2021 and the reason for their departure was to grow their brand into the African Market not because of financial reasons or being mistreated by the label.

Following their exit, it was reported that Blaq Diamond did not leave up to their contract and the agreement to leave was not mutual. The label and the duo had not been on good terms ever since. It seems like their battle is not over as Ambitious Entertainment decided to drop Danya’s album before the release date as a way of shading him.

Danya Dev took to his instagram page to announce that his debut album titled Inkosi Yoshuni will be released on the 24th of May 2023. Their former record label decided to drop the album today on the 23th of May 2023. They shared that the album is now available on all streaming platforms. Ambitious posted a picture of the album cover on Twitter with a caption saying, “Bon Appétit”.

Apparently this is not the first time the label has done this to their former clients. Something similar was done to singer and songwriter Ntaba Yase Dubai. The singer’s album was released without his consent. Ntaba Yase Dubai poured his heart out in a post after the record label did him dirty.

Tweeps reacted to the post by sharing that the label is shady and their actions were uncalled for. “Let’s all pirate these songs on Fakaza, these people have no shame”, a follower said.

However, Danya Devs has not responded to what their former record label has done.
