Prince Kaybee Swears To Quit Music If New Single Is Unsuccessful

Prince Kaybee swears to quit music if new single is unsuccessful. Music producer and DJ Prince Kaybee shared what steps he will take if his soon to be released song is not received well.

Prince Kaybee has been having a hard time since he became an independent artist after 8 years of being under a record label. Kaybee parted ways with his record label Universal Music after both parties mutually agreed to terminate his contract. Following his exit, the DJ has been vocal about how confused and scared he was to navigate his new journey as an independent artist.

“My propensity after being released from Universal is that I’m very scared, I’m very confused in what I need to do moving forward. I’m playing by ear and something that I’m looking at from different angles. It has required myself in trying to understand what this means right now for me in this time in my life… It’s just a lot of like power at the moment, where there isn’t any greater being to answer to. No one tell me what to do and when to do it…”, Prince Kaybee had shared.

The DJ has been sharing on his socials media pages clips and pictures of himself in studio working on new music. The singer also assured his fans through a post that he will be blessing them with new music soon. The DJ is ready and prepared to release his new single. However, he seems to be not confident about his new piece of work. He shared that if his new single that he is about to release does not do well, that will be his cue to quit music. “If the single I’m about to drop doesn’t work then music clearly is something that should be my past”, Prince Kaybee tweeted.

His fans were not pleased with his post about making music a thing of the past. They begged the DJ not to quit music. They were confident that the DJ’s single set to be released will become a hit song. “But you’re a serial hit maker, there’s no way. You gut feeling could be wrong”, said one of his followers.
