Thabsie Celebrates New Milestone For Hit Single With Kwesta Ngiyaz’fela Ngawe. Kwesta released his much anticipated album DAKAR II in 2019 which featured what would become one of the biggest records of that year. The single titled Ngiyaz’fela Ngawe features South African songstress Thabsie went on to become voted record of the year and has won multiple awards.

Even though the rapper and the singer went on to release other projects, it appears that there will never be a record quite like that one. The single is still continuing to top the charts as it recently just reached a new major milestone on YouTube since its release almost three years ago.

Taking to social media, Thabsie shared the exciting news of Ngiyaz’fela Ngawe which has just reached 10 million views on YouTube. This record is more significant to her because it was the day she met her Kwesta’s daughter and wife Yolanda Vilakazi who be has now become her best friend. Thinking back on the day makes the singer teary eyed because it is one that she will never forget.

“OK I’m gonna cry now” she wrote.

The single went on to become the biggest song in the country within weeks of its release and even though some people did throw a little shade on the song, that didn’t stop it from doing amazing on the charts. The Dakar II album has been certified 13x platinum while Ngiyaz’fela Ngawe has reportedly been certified 119x platinum. Other features on the 22-track album include AKA, Busiswa and songstress Bucie.
